The Gibbs Group is a group of companies arisen or related to Gibbs & Cía S.A.C., which acts as Lloyd’s Agent. Other three companies complete the Gibbs group, named: Gibbs & Cía Ajustadores SpA., ARM Ltda. and CSL Latam S.A.
Despite the fact, Gibbs exists as a company in Chile since 1826, from 1911 it involves in the insurance market as a surveyor and claim settling agent for Lloyd's. From that date, Gibbs & Cía S.A.C. builds up its prestige based on exceptional technical work and stable long-term relationships with their clients.
In the early 90’, Gibbs decided to expand his services of surveying and settlement of claims to the local insurance market.
With the aim of complying with the current local regulations, Gibbs & Cía. Ajustadores Ltda. (present Gibbs & Cía. Ajustadores SpA) is created and which is developed in the domestic area for Property and Casualty, Marine (Cargo and Hull) & Legal Liability and in 2000 starts a successful association with McLarens International Adjusters and which ended in 2013 reverting to the market in 2014 independently to the latter.
Along with the previous information, in 2008, ARM Ltda. is created, also known as Gibbs Masivos, whose mainly scope consists in TPA (Third Party Administration) service of important high-frequency claims Insurers, in terms of personal accidents, mortgages and unemployment insurance, among others.
Subsequently, in 2011, with the support of Gibbs & Cia S.A.C., the Technical Inspections Division is created, to render certification services for quality, condition and quantity of export products.
Subsequently, in order to expand our service area, in 2015, CSL Latam Consultores S.A. is created, which is a HUB for Latin America of the CSL Global Group, with its headquarters located in London and with offices and sub-agencies in the most important regions around the world. Unlike Gibbs companies, CSL is focused on damage prevention, and risk management, a mong others.
